FRC MAP

I must disagree with you over what areas a new democratic China would administer. The areas of Tibet, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and most of Qinghai Province should not be part of a future FRC, or at least have much greater autonomy than they do now. I have three arguments: 1) If you were to compare the political boundaries of all the states of Imperial China, you would find that the only territories that remained under Chinese control through almost every dynasty were the provinces, the areas I mentioned above fell in and out of Han control throughout history. 2) If you look at the ethnic make-up of China over different areas (before the CCP encouraged the drowning out of minority populations in certain regions) the Han people were a small minority in the aforementioned areas. 3) Why does the FRC need to control these areas anyway? These areas have their own unique cultures and had their own civilizations that developed apart from China. Why can't they separately coexist?

In my ideal world, Xizang and west Qinghai would become the nation of Tibet, Xinjiang would become the Republic of East Turkestan, and Inner Mongolia would merge with the current Mongol Republic. But these are only my hopes and nobody knows what will happen. But I still hope for the collapse of the Communist Party and the return of China to the Kuomintang and the Nationalist government.
